Have an on-site fuel tank?

Legality of Smoke for Kalifornia

I HAD A 94 3/4 4X4 6. 5 CHEVY . IN A THREE MONTHS TIME I WENT THROUGH THREE INJECTION PUMPS . ON THE THIRD TIME I LEFT IT AT THE DEALER WALKED ACROSS THE STREET AND PURCHASED MY FIRST RAM. Oo. Oo. I ONLY HAD THAT CHEVY TRUCK TEN MONTHS.

NOW I HAVE HAD TWO CUMMINS POWERD TRUCKS AND ONLY HAD TO REPLACE ONE TRANSFER PUMP.

FYI

I owned a 83 6. 2 in a 4x4 half ton. Gotta say it was a good engine to me. Tuff bottom end so-so pumps. Mine was an EGR model so I plugged off the egr supply tubes and put an HD manifold on (2 hr project) This really made it breath better. I also put a set of bosch injectors into it. This thing purred like a kitten and worked well in the half ton. It had a 4 spd with over drive (stock side mount Hurst shifter, reverse up by the steering wheel). At about the 200k mark it developed an extra knock. Drove that way for about a year till I used a stethoscope and figured where it was coming from, pulled the head everything was fine. Pulled the pan and dropped #1 piston, it had a broken skirt. replaced it and put back together. As for the inside wear s- non-nothing- denada!. Original hatch marks on the cylinder wall, original machining on the piston and and no signs of wear on the rod bearing. This engine seemed to wear well. Truck had oil/filter change every 3500 miles. I owned this truck for 18 years and never walked once. I think in a half ton application it can be a good engine.

That 4 sp OD trans was originally the transmission used behind the Dart and Valiant 273's. With third gear modified to overdrive.

It had a 3. 10 first gear. It was a great gear box. I ran one behind a 396 in a 58 chevy p/u.

The transmission was nice. Had real close shifts and it was comfortable just above knee height. The only problem was that it was to "light" for this application. I had to replace the main input bearing every 50k miles. I got so good at it I could do it and re & re the clutch at the same time in 6 hrs laying on my back in the snow by my self. No special tools required.

I had an '82 Blazer with a 6. 2 in it - The EGR was disabled. It blew a head gasket out the side of the block so I rebuilt the motor as it was using quite a bit of oil too. Put the HD intake on it and got rid of EGR all together. Also put a Banks Sidwinder Turbo kit on it, and replaced the old iron cased Muncie 4sp with a TH400 and a Allison TC. Its still driving around, I might even buy it back...

After all the Bombs, I could easily outrun my brothers 93 first gen CTD.
