Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition will stacks make my egts way too high?

Off Roading Flat tracking in BC?

I hear that there was several full pulls.

One being Kent Crowder Scheid truck ("kent almost pulled the sled to town")

Congrats.

Stacey full pull, Blue Ford with a Cummins full pull.

Gene Mohney 294 (what I heard)

GMT Rob Thomas (not last place) *correction

Dave Mitchell had suspension trouble, had a good test pull at the end of the night.

These are Fridays results

No one participated in the pull off.

Jim T. no wonder you didnt want to say how it went.

Thanks Fest for the info.

Jesup pulls

I went to the pulls last night in jesup and the Schied truck is wicked fast pulling the the sled. I wish someone would have had a radiar gun to see how fast that thing was going at the 275' mark. The super duty w' Cummins power was also very impresive. I wish Dave M and the EEP truck would have been able to get in a good run cause that truck looks like its going to be a kick a&& puller when he gets all the bugs worked out.

I was just waiting for the results from Saturday night. I had a partial list (of results). I was waiting for the final list.

:)

Saturday Results

1. Kent Crowder (Scheids)

2. Dave Mitchell-Enterprise Engine

3. Erik Stacey aka Blackdog-Enterprise Engine

4. ? & 5. ?

6. Sled was 6th both nights

This copied from Diesel Central

HVAC,

The rules at most pulls would prohibit a non OEM pickup truck engine for competition. I have heard the Ford with the Cummins is a Scheid built engine (rumor).

My sources confirm the same about the cummins powered ford... except if left some parts on the track in a big pool of oil.

There was a tie Friday night, no pull off.

Saturday, however, Kent CRUSHED Dave. "03 was his year no doubt.

Quite a bit of knocking as he pulled away and shut it down, but thats pretty cool, that they will blow a motor to win!:)

After this summer, it was nice to see Dave in a pull off, and actually be contending. He has shed/gained/shed/gained a ton of suspension parts,in a short period of time, I think he is going the right direction now.

I would like to thank EEP/ Scheids for giving us a hell of a show the last couple of years. There is no doubt those trucks are the most powerful 5. 9s in the country.

Maybe some day the other vendors will come and play, like Banks, Dr. P. Joe Donnelly, ATS, Kondolay, HVAC, etc.

Be nice to see that kind of money involved.

the guys with the ford with the ctd is watson 's from out my way ohio valley region ..... their othe rtruck white flatbed says watsons contracting on the side

I went to the pulls and it was awesome. Schieds truck has a wicked lope to it. Man that thing is crazy. It beat Mitchell by like 20ft. The Mitchell truck and the Schied truck have totally different turbo sounds. The Ford truck was badder than HELL!!!! It was an '03 Ford w/ a 5. 9 transplant and exhaust out the hood. I couldnt believe my eyes w/ this thing. It am pretty sure it made a full pull on Friday night. We talked a little to them on Saturday and they said it was only running on 4 cylinders!?? They had some sheet on the side of the truck saying they spent 120k on the truck. Thier was some weird looking dodge 3500 w/ an obnoxious intake on the hood and one 8" stack. I missed him pull on Saturday night b/c on the bulletin it said f***ing 7 oclock, but it didnt seem to serious like the others. One thing is for sure, sled-pulling is for those that have money flowing out their butt. I am a 100% believer in mitchell and schieds having over 1000hp!!
