How about compared to an existing BHAF?
Have been thinking of going w/ a scotty setup, but dont know how much improvement there would be over the 40 dollar BHAF.
Also, still hesitant about using an oiled type filter.
I was running a BHAF at the time I got my Scotty II and just dropping the Scotty II in using only the fender outlet it dropped my EGT's a solid 100* cruising down the road. They also dropped quicker and climbed slower.
After I cut the hole a couple months later it dropped my EGT's another 75* or so. Definately worth the $$ in EGT reduction!
I was running a #10 plate centered, 300 Marine injectors, and a 3K GSK at the time... . VERY hot combo on a stock HX35x12
