Smokin Up the Valley

Ok guys and gals, I have been working on putting together SCTDR weekend event and here is what I have come up with.

How does this sound?

Weekend camping at one of the top rated camp grounds in South Carolina

Friday night at a drag strip

Saturday at a truck/tractor pull

YES we can get in on the FUN;)

Anyone interested?

Dates I am looking at are June 19 thru 21 and July 10 thru 12

Here are links to the camp ground and drag strip.

The truck/tractor pull is put on by a high school FFA and they do a nice job at it.

Everything is within 20 miles of the campground:cool: .

Kyle,

I can make it, my prefered weekend is July 10-12. Gives more SCTDR guys a chance to plan ahead a bit.

Sorry, Everyone needs to make their own reservations. I am going to set the date ( unless someone has a better idea) for the weekend of July 10th thru the 12th.

Kyle,

Everyone responsible for themselves, correct.

I'm delegating to the better half to make the call this AM.

Everyone is responsible (paying) for themselves and setting up reservations, I would suggest that those with campers invite a few others stay in their camper and split expenses. Right now there are some AWESOME campsites available in July weekend in rustic including some on the lake, and regular camp sites close to both the playgound and bath houses. Also there is great swimming and fishing areas with VERY nice boat launch ramps. I have tried to put together a nice weekend and I was hoping more people would get excited about.

I am putting in my Reservations TODAY.

Kyle,

My reservations are made! You can actually a layout and description of the sites on the website, that helped.

I'm looking forward to visiting the western side of our state, it will be all new for us. We are tent campers and wood fire cooks, definetly evening campfire types.

OK you guys and gals get your camping hats on and lets go!

My reservations are set, I am in site 33, there are several more sites in the area and the rustic sites have lots of openings. I will be bringing in my 29 foot 5th, sorry I don't do the tents anymore, my back is completely shot and I love my AC  . I also have a 4 man tent if someone needs to use it. I am really looking to good old campfire cooking.

I am site 33 loop/camp ground 1. I picked this one because it has the most openings around it so we could keep the group together as much as possible. I assume that those who want rustic camping will do the same.

Good Idea, Thanks to ?????

I just noticed the FRONT PAGE invitation to the campout, my compliments to whoever did this, I didn't think of asking Robin to run that.

NICE JOB! I bet it was Ken since his name is the contact.

I'm ready for a break from the 9-5, we had a national sales meeting this week and I'm a bit worn out, ready for some woods time.

Well here is a bite, just got back from a short road trip and this morning my Injection Pump just went south. got codes 253, 1688 and 1689. Anyone got a clue whats up? My guess is a DOA injection pump, but I am open to sugestions.
