So, who has used sea foam (in the fuel tank) to help clean up the injectors ? I've seen some posts against, and some for. But I dont think I seen anything from anyone (that used it in a diesel) that says it really does a good job, or that one application screws up your engine.

Have seen quite a few on TDR use it claiming good results, I've run some through a couple trucks but wasn't able to tell that it helped any. A coworker once a year fills the fuel filter of his TDI with it then starts it and swears it makes it run better. I would recommend not doing it unless you have a good lubricity additive in your fuel.

Thanks Vaughn, Ill take your advice. I do add stanodyne so I should have decent lubricity (especially with the bio they add in the diesel here in wa). But a few folks have recommended it just to help clean up the injectors. Guess I dont want to take the chance then.

I have been using it, but stopped. I thought it was good, but someone here told me it had alcohol in it. I didn't see that on the label. That's bad.

I've been using it for years. I dump a can in a full tank every month or so or when I notice it starts idling a little rough. I've added it to the fuel bowl when changing the fuel filter but mixed it with fuel about 50/50. On there website they claim you can fill the fuel bowl with it straight when changing the fuel filter with no ill affects. It's suppose to solidify any build up.

I use by filling the filter, idling for a bit, and let it set overnight. Works prtyy weel if you have gummed up injectors, pump, and carbon deposits from not working the engine hard enough. Would not use it on a regular basis though. Not enough lube.
