Just got my 2011 3500 and the seat belt chime is about to drive me nuts. I know, wear it and the chime will turn off, but when running around the jobsite its an on and off in and out situation. Is there any possible way to disable it or turn it off? I read the owners manual but couldnt find anything. 2nd question is, on numerous occasions I have used the remote start and for some reason both my front windows roll halfway down. Any idea what that is about?

I think if you push the door lock button 2 times, it selects the "Remote Start" Feature, but if you push the door lock buttom 2 times and hold the button down, it will roll both windows down.

Here you go; this worked on my 2010.

BeltAlert can be enabled or disabled by your authorized dealer or by performing the following procedure:

NOTE: The following steps must occur within the first 60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON or START position. Chrysler Group LLC does not recommend deactivating the BeltAlert.

1. With all doors closed and the ignition switch in anyposition except ON or START, buckle the driver's seat belt.

2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait for the Seat Belt Reminder Light to turn off.

3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle and then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least three times within 60 seconds, ending with the seat belt buckled.

NOTE: Watch for the Seat Belt Reminder Light to turn on while the seat belt retracts and turn off while rebuckling the seat belt.

4. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.

BeltAlert can be reactivated by repeating this procedure.

NOTE: Although BeltAlert has been deactivated, the Seat Belt Reminder Light will continue to illuminate while the driver's seat belt remains unbuckled or unretracted.

Have you looked through all of the menus on your EVIC. There are several options to choose from; ie headlight delay, headlight on with wiper, doors lock at 15 mph etc. Might be something there for the remote start options.
