While searching for a wiring diagram for the DTT Smart Controller I came across a jumper plug in my center console I completely forgot about. It is used if the controller is in question of a problem. You simply unplug the controller and install this jumper plug. I didn't see the relay that was there but maybe it's plugged into a unused socket in the PDC. It was so long ago I can't remember.
Here's a picture of the jumper plug

Anchorage Alaska. Thanks David. Just what I needed. Sounds like TDR comes thru again. And thanks to you Boeing Diesel. I thought my Dodge Cummins was going to the boneyard. Still like this truck 22 years later and 168 k

The white cube essentially takes the smart controller out of the system . With out the torque convertor being locked up the exhaust brake can’t work of course. But it should make the truck appear to be stock for the most part so that code scanner/diagnostic tester should see a stock transmission which is a good thing to know

I printed out the trouble shooting info that BoeingDiesel gave us. And will take it to the tech and see if he wants to do it. I have a leaky input seal etc and other things that need some attention as well. Spend a little money on her and drive it to the end. Maybe? Thanks for your help

Ok I started thru the tests for code p0753. Relay horn test ok but 10 amp transmission fuses was blown. Mini fuse. Replaced started truck never put it in gear and it blew right away. New fuse and onto the pcm white center block to check ohms there

Ok very interesting. My power distribution center has a 10 amp fuse in the transmission slot. Not a 20 amp fuse like the testing says. Very interesting

So I really didn’t get anywhere with today’s testing 10 amp fuse blown and blows key on. Twice Relay ok with the relay horn swap and 12.5 behind the relay with a good 10 amp fuse. And 33.3 ohms at pin 21 on the center power control module. I have a short somewhere taking out the fuse. But where to look
