I tried TO PM Randy, maybe i don't have enough posts to PM yet. I hope this isn't a dead issue. maybe someone else knows what's going on.

If price is a factor, you won't be buying these most likely. Probably at least $1,500 give or take based on similar products from the same company.

Yep, they don't call them Dynarape for nothing!!!

If their bearing hubs are as scary as their disc brake brackets, I'd run like the plague!!

Randy PM'D me and said they are supposed to be doing a test fit soon. i hope that the pirate 4x4 forum was just a few isolated unhappy customers

First, they're comparing apples to oranges. Sure, Dynacrap may not have the ultimate brake brackets, and they do generally sell pretty high quality stuff, even if overpriced. Given the size of our front axle, the typical use, and the application we're talking about here, I wouldn't expect the failure percentage to be very high on these hubs. Not many TDR members are going to run 44-49" tires for one. I think it's a great idea and would be on the bandwagon myself, except that my truck 'want list' already has 20K worth of mods waiting for my wallet to catch up on! I'll see how these things turn out and maybe pick up a set when the stock hub unit wears out.

I got a call from Dynatrac today. I take my truck in tomorrow to get the lockout hubs installed, should have it back on thursday. Will let you guys know how it works out. I'm sure that Randy will get a group buy together soon.

Thats cool. Take a pic if you can, it would be neat to see a lock out on a 3rd gen.

One thing I like is being able to choose 2wheel low for on pavement maneuvers!

That's great news DRenegar. I was starting to doubt that Dynatrac would ever get it together. Did they mention anything with regards to price? Oh yeah, and pics are a must :) .
