Since I purchased my truck it's had a loud belt squeel. The catch is... it'll ONLY take into the squeel when reved over 2 grand. And the only way it'll back out of it is if it's reved over 2 again. With that said...
Last weekend I did my killer dowel pin. I checked my pulleys and they all appeared to be fine. I figure, if it were the alternator, it'd happen at low RPM, if it were the AC, it would alter the sound turning it on or off, the tensioner isn't off-sides or wobbly and the fan is tight as a drum. That leaves the harmonic balancer, the power steering pump and the water pump.
If anyone else has had this issue let me know.
On a side note, I'm looking at putting in some aftermarket speakers. What size speakers are in the doors and back cab.
