I want to change the OEM shocks for Bilsteins (currently sitting in my garage)

I took a quick look at the fronts yesterday and couldn't figure out a good way to get to the top nut on the front shocks. It's invisible from the wheel well, and covered by lots of stuff in the engine compartment.

Could use some advice or tips on the smart way to change these shocks.

Thanks

Just changed mine over to Bilstein 5100's and Bilstein Stabilizer yesterday and also had to remove when I put my level kit on. Tim is dead on, just put an impact gun on and let her rip. This seems to be the only way because theres not enough room to put a wrench on the nut and the shock stud in the engine bay, and the gun has worked every time for me you just need to be sure its an air gun because my Makita 18v gun didnt cut it. Do the same thing when you put it back on. You just have to let her rip until the bushing is compressed because it seems if you stop it wont thread any further after that and just spins the shock tube. Good Luck and keep the coal rolling.

Bingo.

But after my experience with Bilstein 5150 series shocks on my old Jeep, I decided to go with KYB for my Dodge. The higher-end Bilsteins have a crap warranty, which really sucks when you're dropping as much coin for them as you have to. I'd rather get a decent shock for a much more reasonable price with a better warranty.
