SATURDAY, JANUARY 31ST 10AM TO 5PM
PFI
5720 South Bueno Drive
Ft. Collins
The cost will be $30 per truck. This price would be for 1 hook up, consisting of 3-4 pulls per hook up (PFI will work with you on the number of pulls if necessary).
I think that since this is a last minute dyno day, we will have to include as many trucks as possible to meet the all day fee the club has to pay (and I already paid half down). I know we have really been wanting to have a PSD only dyno day and I promise that one of these days we will, but I don't think that we would get enough PSDs to run on the dyno this quickly to meet the fee. So, this is a come-one, come-all day.
Also, PFI is supposed to be getting a new magnet in next week that will help the torque reading problem on our truck runs. But, just in case, Alan is bringing some other options for hooking up for torque readings too.
RULES:
1. This is a first come, first serve dyno day. PSDs, CTDs and Dmaxs all treated equally. When you get there, you will register with me (fill out paperwork and pay (cash or check please)) and then put your truck in the line (remember, PFI is a drive thru dyno - much easier on me!). If you don't get in line, you don't have a spot!
2. Once you are on the dyno, you can not change out parts while still hooked up. If you have a chip that can change programs at the flip of a switch or can be changed very quickly (a couple of minutes), then you can stay hooked up and do multiple runs on one hook up. If you have to switch out components, please unhook off the dyno, pull out of the line, go change out whatever and then get back in line. This way, everyone gets to run their truck and nobody is left standing around waiting all day.
3. Duallys will not be required to take off their outer tires.
4. Members who would like to hang out and help out with getting trucks on and off the dyno, you are more than welcome. In fact, that will help the day go much faster. So wear your work clothes if you plan on spending some time in the garage. PFI is a very hands on dyno for all.
5. The dynoing will start at 10am and run until 5pm. Be in line by 5pm and you will get your run in.
6. If we happen to exceed the fee the club has to pay for the dyno day itself, the extra money will go towards club expenses (banners, website, screen fees for shirts/decals, etc). If anyone would ever like to review the club receipts, please let me know. I am in the process of organizing all club finances for everyone to be able to look at anytime. Remember, we have no membership dues and we plan on keeping it that way. The club will be recouping money spent from this and other events. The club belongs to all of us!
7. If the weather turns bad, we will reschedule, not cancel, the day. Keep checking the website for details if it looks bad out.
If anyone has any questions or something they would like to see added to the rules, please let me know. I want to make this day run as smoothly as possible!
See you all there!
