If you haven't heard the story about "P" at the flats...
He did well for the class he was in which was a production class I believe. Problem was when the officials found out he using propane and Nos they threw the record out because the class he was in did not allow the alternative fuels and additives. The record for the appropriate class was about eleven miles an hour faster than he ran so he got a little upset and things didn't get any better you might say. I don't think he's been back to the flats (allowed back) since.
If you hear enough about the guy/meet the guy, and develop a character profile, you can just imagine that he probably feels the 148 mph record stands
