Right. The station has to be broadcasting RDS data. Some of them in the Bay Area do and when they do, the RBQ can get it. It darn well should do the Sirius as well.



By the way. Satellite radio is the about the best thing since sliced bread I reckon. I never listen to normal radio anymore. Never. Hardly listen to my CDs either.
 
I tossed the factory in stereo & installed a Pioneer XM head unit, Boston Acoustics speakers, JL " sub, Alpine V Series mono amp for the sub & Rockford Fosgate amp to drive the speakers. I like it!!!



I don't want ear bleeding volume, just great clarity & depth for my taste in music. Lots of classical, jazz, old rock etc.

Nice setup and music choices. What did it cost?

I shopped around some & paid a little under $1100. 00 for everything. Did my own install & mounted the XM antenna on the dash. Reception is great. The only time it will hunt for a signal is when travelling heavily wooded areas with trees that overhang the road. I don't think a roof mount would make any difference.
