Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Six Speed Trans Leak

I have a 2001 3500 with a six speed trans. I noticed that I have developed a leak from the area of the shift tower. After reading the factory service manual, the fix seems straight forward. For those of you that have worked on the six speed trans, is the repair of a leak from the shift tower straight forward as the manual implies or are there things I should watch out for?

Other than the leak, the trans is working fine. I'm using factory approved lube.

You must have rubbed off on me when I was up in the "A" word a few weeks ago. Mine is leaking from between the bel housing though.

The bolts on my shift tower came loose and leaked a bit. It was pretty easy to get to coming down from the top.
