Skyjacker Dual Ft Shock kit

I just installed the mounts & shocks today and noticed something not quite right. For the add-on position, both sides, the bolts aren't long enough to reach the plastic of the locknuts. I know a few of you have this kit, is this what you experienced? Other than that I really like the ride improvement.

I didn't have that problem, the problem I have is that now the front brake lines won't bolt back into their proper location. So I just triple zip tied them, and for the last 18 months and 30K odd miles, I have had zero problems.



I have the Skyjacker 2 1/2" double flex lift on my truck.

Hmmm... My bolts were long enough, but I had to grind the bracket to make it fit and bend the brake hard lines to make them fit when bolted back on.

seems like all of us got a little mod to the "bolt on". I used a pair of vise grips to hold the brakeline bracket tight and then persuaded the hard lines to move. I noticed the brackets did sit on top of the factory weld & undulations, I didn't grind them, but I might in a few weeks when I swap the bolts for longer ones. Thanks guys.
