Installed this SkyJacker Dual In-Line Steering Stabilizer today, not a bad install at all. The instructions were not much help, and could have been better illustrated, but I survived. Looks like it will take on anything I can throw at it, the shocks were very stiff and required alot of effort to extend or collapse. I won't be able to road test for a while, but I'll post if anything odd happens. Seems like alot of stabilizer for the money.

Did the stock one put up a fight? My friends 1/2 ton just did not want to go quietly. I rather have this straight across design like yours, instead of the old style, one shock on the other, that my year uses (96).

WS,

I purchased it from 4Wheel Parts right at 90 bucks and another 7 for the blue boots(I didn't want to use the red ones that came with it). I don't know the Part Number, When I ordered it Skyjacker hadn't add the new SS to their web site, and when the part came there was no invoice. Also I looked at the box, and it has no part number on it, sorry.

I have never taken the stock steering stabilizer off. It is still there. I had a Rancho single SS one before this double one, I just removed it to make way for the new one. I just never took the stocker off, I figured it wasn't hurting anything were it was, so it is still there.

Try Jackit.com that is where I purchased mine for around $74 bones. Prices may have gone up since then, been couple years. Part numbers are, 98-02 SKJ7218,,,,,,94-97 SKJ7217. This is out of Jackit.com catalog. They do work well. The only mod I had to make was purchase bigger U bolts, the ones that come with it were to small.

Nice looking truck Y-knot.
