Hey Nowel, I need a first hand report tomorow when you get back with times and such, any of you guys bringing a camcorder? I wish I could go to take video but there is no way.

Adam--thanks for the #'s--I didn't know I would've been disqualified---sore losers those guys with the gassers--like their trucks didn't have chips or some sort of engine upgrades and who knows what else---just may have to start playing with the big boys now---propane-NOS-and whatever else---have you received any info from the pullers association, I haven't and am wondering about future dates--talk to you later... ... ... . chris

I guess they just couln't take getting second to someone from out of town. I wish I could have done a tech check on their trucks.
Ps I don't run drugs pulling. But feel free to get off the porch. #ad

My6EatsV8's---I was just thinkin' out loud on the drugs--if they're gonna chase me out of the stock class everytime--then what's the next option-- go up to modified and then a guy might need something more(maybe) to stay in the running--I'd go with my current setup first and see what happened and then ponder future wonders-need to check the stuff out when they send it---chris

If you guys don't mind me asking... what exactly happened? I browsed this thread and didn't quite piece it all together. I'm entering my first pull soon so I'm curious for all kinds of reasons. Any chance of getting the reader's digest version of whatever the controversies were?

the promotor that put on this event kind of scre*ed the pooch by making only two classes. Stock was supposed to be exhaust only type of mods, that is the class we ran in but you know we kicked their buts. The thing was the other trucks had stuff to. They usually have a street modified class that is what we fit in perfectly, allows some suspention mods,(you need 2" travel in the front down, and the back up), and also opens up some motor mods.
They only offered one other class for that event witch was modified, of which is basically a puller with plates. Not really close to what we are.
So in short we kicked but, then got booted out of the class, and unfortunately both broke out put shafts.

Sorry to hear that. It still sounds like you did very well and I'd be willing to be you had a ball doing it... lol. I'm still trying to get the class info on the pull I'm entering. What were the specifics on the shaft failures you guys had?
