Went to the sled pull at the West End Fair in Union Co. PA tonight. Well sort of. The light division started @ 7pm with the heavy trucks later. Everybody was done by 8:30pm. I got there at 8:35. Missed them all. Anyway, one strong Cummins that died at the lfull pull ine. I was wondering about the "can't (won't) show or talk about what "my" truck has or doesn't have in it. I just wanted to talk to the guy and see if he had any association with the TDR or anything else but I got shot down pretty quick. I didn't think I was pushy or anything like that. Just trying to be sociable. Is this how it is at all sled pulls? I am slowly converting my 95 into a sled puller so I can pull mostly for the fun of it or bragging rights with the locals. It doesn't seem like as much fun when nobody talks. But then again most people know what the others are running anyway. Or am I wrong?
