Hello all,
Just ordered a short bed and have to decide which "manual sliding" 5th wheel hitch to purchase. I have researched the Pullrite and am very impressed..... however, I really dont want to pay that much for one, plus the fact that you have to bolt on their (Pullrites) special plate onto your king pin, which would restrict other trucks from moving/towing your 5th wheel in a pinch unless you un-bolted the plate from your king pin, which is about 12 bolts.
Would like to hear from those who have manual sliding hitches other than Pullrite and your likes/dislikes. I am considering the Hijacker with sliding rails.
Thanks - Terry
