I've got an Edge Attitude box, and one of my screens in the monitor shows Slippage. I've noticed that while towing, in 6th gear around 1900 RPM (65 mph), that I am getting about 4-5% slippage, even at part throttle without a lot of load. The slippage goes away when you downshift to 5th, but then the rpms climb to about 2400-2500 which is too much (again, I'm not pushing hard up hills-just trying to maintain 65 at a comfortable rpm).
I know the diaphragm design of these clutches adds clamping power at higher rpms, but was just curious if others have seen the same issue.
Am I slowly smoking the clutch?
Anyone with the dual Haisley (sp?) set up?
