Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Slipping in Overdrive

If I turn my drag comp on even level 1-1 the OD will start slipping aroung 1600 rpm if I try to accel. Anything above 1-1 slippage is totally out of hand. If I turn OD off it will pull like everything. Will a shift kit from someone like Dunrite Converters the (trans buddy) and/or valve body from others that increase pressure solve the problem or will the OD have to be rebuilt? I have a DTT converter, but that should not affect OD operation does it? Any help would be appreciated.

My original '01 with an ETH was wrecked and I had that engine put in this '01 that had an auto in it. I'm in Tyler, that is in far NE Texas about 1/2 way between Dallas and Shreveport.
