When turning at low speed I can hear a very noticeable squeek squeek squeak... sounds like a bird is chirping. It's coming from the right front wheel - right at the knuckle I think. Wheel bearing or ball joint?

Go for the easy things first... . brakes. Warped rotor, worn brake, calipers needing some lube on the slides, etc. Tap the brakes and if it goes away, I'd look at brakes.

I have the same issue, but with the driveside. Just replaced the rotors and pads and it's still there. Hoping it's the u-joint and not hub.

Just based on my experiences with my Jeep, if it does it mainly in the morning and goes away after a while, I would say it's the driveshaft u-joint or CV ball on the driveshaft.

U-joint on the front axle like others have mentioned.

Give us more info. Rusty red u-joint area, only happens cold, hot, turning, stopping coasting?

You don't go to the doctor with one complaint. More signs and symptoms are needed for exact breakdown. Thanks.

Had the squeak thing when my front wheel bearing was going out, but I imagine with a 4x4 you have lots of other possibilities up there. I should have jacked mine up and checked it.

2003 3500 4x2, generally stock, 93,000 miles.

I had the same thing on my 04 turned out to be the axle u joints, that's when I changed over to lock out hubs. know i have some squeeking noise again, this time it's the front u joint on the rear drive shaft. I picked up some spicers to take care of that.
