SLT vrs Larame Wheels 06

I saw this posted in another post here so I went down the dealer and checked it out.



The SLT's at the dealer all have Polished forged aluminium rims

The Laramie H comes with Chrome Clad forged aluminum rims.



Looking the chrome clad it looks like plastic chrome glued onto the forged rims.



Is the Chrome Clad supposed to be better? I guess the polished forged might be more work to keep looking sharp, and people who buy Laramie H models don't like to clean them?



If they have a set of polished with the same tires on another trick I bet I could get them to switch them

The thunder road additon 05 that i have has the polished on and i want the dealer to swa them when they come in. I dont like the chrome clad stell ones either they look cheap to me.
