Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Smarty&comp tapped. How much H.P.

Hi guys! I am curious as to how much H. p. a smarty and comp tapped would add to an otherwise stock truck. The only other thing I have done is lost the muffler and took out the restrictive banjos. Would it break 300 Hp?

I was at about 310/900 with the Comp alone - and now with the other mods plus the Smarty, estimate about 400/???...



I hope to Dyno At Ken Imlers In Sacto when we're down there in several weeks...

It is an ECM S/W upgrade programmer. Actually it is much more, check out Bob Wagner's web site for a link to Madd electronics. He is a TDR member and maybe he will chime in.

do you have a demo coming to or near SAC CA any time soon. i was thinking about a comp box but I have bee waiting on some HP numbers on the smarty. has any one gotten this on there pick up yet and if so how do you like it?

Probably a big strain on the clutch and such. I am looking at the smarty to use with my comp as well. Tried one out a month ago and it was nice Oo. My current setup dynoed at 370/790 so you will easily be over 300. I think the smarty with other upgrades is good for 45hp or so and so much more
