Thanks, TDR Staff

just updated my smarty and

Maximum LP Pressure

I've got an '01 that has an Edge Comp and upgraded injectors and I'm looking for more low-end power and more smoke on demand. Quite a few guys keep telling me to go with a Smarty, but I see some mixed reviews online here. Heard my 2nd Gen will get about 65hp out of it. I read on the TST website that the Powermax 3 could deliver up to 150hp. Which way should I go??

Any advice??

you cant or shoud not run 2 wire tap boxes together (comp and tst) both tap the pump wire.

You could use the comp as an ez and stack it with the tst box.

The smarty low end power is unmatched by any other box

they do say 60 hp, but in the bottom end and midrange it has to be 125. thats what it feels like with the comp anyway. I noticed a huge difference of "on demand" smoke, I cant say enough that with whateer box you have, the smarty is unbeatale.

The technical support guy at TST did indicate that the Edge Comp and TST Powermax 3 won't be a happy couple.

Lookin' more like a Smarty is in store.

Unless I hear a better match with the Edge Comp... I'll look for a deal on a Smarty. Haven't seen anything under $650.

I don't think you will find a deal below the list price of $685 new, all the distributors signed a retail agreement regarding pricing, that's it. You might find a used one in the classifieds for less, but they have yet to be a frequent item.

Stacking the fuel wire tap seems to be a problem for all that have tried it as far as I can tell from reading all the posts on the forums. I chose the Quad Zillaraider STD and the Smarty as my combo. I am now waiting on the Smarty to arrive, I am very pleased with the Quad Zillaraider.
