Well most of the smoke is gone except at WOT:D, boost is down or slower to come up, power feels more like stock. I'll see what happens MPG wise at my next fill up... ...

if forward means towards the front of the truck looking from the firewall, you turned the AFC wheel the wrong direction :)

Now you've got me thinking. I turned the top of the star wheel towards the drivers fender which is counterclockwise when looking forward. This increased the spring tension. Please tell me I didn't mess this up. Tony

Smoke altitude spooling

I am running the #5, a four inch exhaust, and AFE/custom intake. #5 is in stock position, star wheel left stock, injectors stock, pump stock except for plate. I can pull 32# of boost, smoke is minimal at lower altitudes, secret is to ease into throttle until boost is obtained. At higher altitudes it smokes a little worse. Full throttle, under load, full boost, a light haze is all that is produced. If you have turned your AFC back, and moved your plate, I would bet on those injectors being the culprit in the smoke dept.

My mileage actually got better after the mods I made, went from a solid 21 empty, to a 22-23. Loaded, much better, pulling 7000# in the mountains around 12-18, all depends on what side of the mountain I am on (uphill or downhill:-laf). . I leave my truck parked unless I have something heavy to pull, the Bug gets my vote with fuel prices at 4. 89!
