Competition Snow Performance pump dead?

Water meth pump died at the track last night. I thought it was maybe a bad ground or power wire but its not. I disconnected my wires and tried to jump it off the battery... nothing. There are 2 hot wires on the top of the unit. One goes to the battery and the other goes to the back of the pump. The "pump" wire gets no power. Whats the plastic box on the top off the unit do? Can I bypass this or open it up to fix it?

Nevermind... . I went ahead and opened the black cover. I found a broken switch inside it. I guess its what controls the pressure. Emailed snow and upgraded to a new 220psi pump.

All that thing is is a Shur Flow diaphragm pump, correct?

a lot of folks turn the screw in to get more pressure and don't relize its only plastic.
