Snow Performance Stage 3 digital Pyro readout vs. ISSPRO analog

I had a ISSPRO EV pyro in my truck before I had the meth setup, and the difference between the snow kit and my ISSPRO guage is about 350°. Thet are both in the manifold, the one that reads higher is in the front 3 cyls, where the snow Pyro probe is in the back 3 clys. Anyone else come across this? Im trying to devise a way of testing them both around 1500° with an outside heat source and a calibrated thermometer of some sort.....

That's interesting. Keep us posted on what you find, I've been wondering what the difference from front to back is.



Get ahold of a type K thermocouple with digital readout, fluke makes one. I remember an old post by illflem suggesting using a light bulb as the heat source. Maybe place the probes and the TC against the bulb and wrap it in some fiberglass insulation. Plug it in and see what happens. Could try it with just your 2 probes and see how close they are. Or try switching the probes around and see if get the same result.
