Well, I got my numbers yesterday at The Dyno Store. Great place and nice dyno, but..... I will get to the dyno.
First, who ever is talking with David needs to tell him to move a few cars in that lot cuz it's gonna get awfully crowded back there with 10-15 trucks. The place is one Canoga Ave. between Devonshire and Lassen. It was kind of hard to find cuz it is in the back of the 10060 addressed building. You guyz will find it though.
Anyway, everything is white and I got the place it's supposed first coating of soot on the walls and ceiling

so I am sure after Tim is done there will be a nice black spot on the ceiling. :-laf Mine doesn't put out enough top end smoke yet, so I didn't get the ceiling bad.
Ok, now to some numbers, I made 441. 3 hp and 933. 6 ft-lbs on my fourth run. I was all

But the thing is there were a few issues with my first three runs. At first I only made about 389 hp and 850 torque and I was blown away and about to get my rig out and never go back. But after some checking in the software(which apparently was brand new and installed on Friday), there was a incorrect number in the torque correction factor and that brought me up to the more desirable numbers.
But another thing about this dyno is, YOU MUST tell the operator to max load the dyno. It is a load brake dyno and he had to put the load percentage up to 97%!!!

I still got good numbers at 60% brake load but the ramp rate of my RPMs was insane in 4th gear and I couldn't build enough EGT or max boost since it reached 3100rpm so quickly. But after he maxed it out to the 97% rating it seemed to ramp slower and get a more accurate, solid power result. I asked the operator(Jeff) to go to 100% but I guess he said David told him never to go there. :-laf
Anyway, I am sure you guys will like this place and get some good solid numbers.

I know I am going back there soon when I can find some more top end fueling and easily get above that 500hp mark! Wish I could have made it on the 17th but I will be packing up and goin' upstate for the holidays. I will check up on you guys that weekend, I am interested in how much more power Tim's rig makes than mr. oilers. There are lots of good places to eat down there Tim so choose wisely. :-laf
