So Long Oil Stinkies????

Did my 15,000 mile fluid and filter change, after running Valvoline/Cummins Premium Blue for nearly 15K miles, I switched to semi-synthetic, 76's Royal Triton QLT.

Initial reactions...

NO DETECTABLE OIL STINK!

Very pleased already, will let ya know as miles rack up.

I'm with you, I broke mine in with penzoil and at 25k switched to full synthetic, with no stinking for the first 500miles like the pe-u-zoil. #ad

Maybe I'm crazy, but that's one of the things I like about doing an oil change. (c'mon, I know there are others out there that like the smell too) I was just thinking the other day that I won't get to smell that anymore when I switch to Amsoil and use extended drain intervals. #ad

Max, Is the 76 25% synthetic or what's the blend? I like the PB 2000 but wish it were a higher blend than 25%

My initial impression is favorable. I bought two 6 gallon cases of it and I'm pretty sure that the truck, the oil and I are going to be together for a good while. Looking forward to doing some hwy miles next month and maybe a little towing?
