Competition Engine set up for nos?

pressure drop goes up with the square of the volumetric flow rate, or more specificly the square of the velocity of the moving fluid.

FYI, CFM through into the turbo is not the same as CFM out of the turbo ;)

But if you keep it all as mass flow rate, and not volume flow rate, you don't have to account for it untill you want to find system pressure drop!!!

ok i give

so if i want to be in the 500 horse range can i get there on 370's and 191 dv's and if so what turbo?

just tell me already i cant take it anymore my heads gonna split :-laf

yeah bd....

when the hx40 was suposed to be the cats meow i bought a bd 40 and... well it made it 5000 miles is that good?hmmm pretty lame for a brand new turbo... so just to restate im looking for a streetable turbo that will also serve for pulling and according to some in this thread the h2e wont be streetable sooo. now i have to spend big bucks onn some other turbo? i hate spending money when there is a cheaper way that just takes a little more work

also i trust the opinions given on this site so if your making me your guinea pig to be funny :( that hurts... but if someone out there is building a turbo for this particular market and wants to give me a good price let me know :D

tell that to the ricer crowd who seeks out stock turbos off of Cummins and puts them on thier cars. they even sell manifolds SPECIFICLY for this... .

oh, as for the thread... ill get back on topic.

i have no ral input on this. sorry.

heh, I was thinking if I could sell my turbo to a friend with a talon, he's like "your turbo is what? oh, it's a bit small for my plans". The one he got doesn't spool at all till 5000rpm, starts making boost at 8000, he pull to 12 or 14,000rpm. No boost, waste gate stuck open he runs 13. 0's. with 27-ish-psi, 9's. :)
