Not to burst anybodies bubble, but... Remember the 2 Subaru WRX's that we saw running the drags? They made it up Oldsmobile Hill on Sunday. The wagon made it first while the standard WRX took a couple of stabs at it before getting to the top.

I rememeber those things. They did better than I did. I was pretty close once. I just couldn't get a good run on the lower stuff. When I saw AK get air heading up the hill on my last run. I knew I just wasn't going to get it done with what I had.

I think the low stance and AWD helped alot. w/o supension these guys were "sliding" over everything. If they don't need front end work, they'll definately need a couple rattle cans worth of paint to refinish the skid plates and unibody.

They cruised through our camp Sunday as we were pulling out... ... ..... the fascias were busted up and one was missing some lights.

Hey Don,



What about lower shock mounts within the arms like the trophy truck guys do on the rears? Also, why'd you go with the single arm ford style? It'll twist the poo out of the axle housing on extreme articulation that way but I suppose it could double as a sway bar. Just curious... by the way, I still didn't get the frame bars mounted on my bumper. Remember way back... the cummins is much larger than all those gassers you made 'em for. Any ideas? Hopefully I'll be making a trip next season and one to pismo this summer.
