One major part of the problem is that most of the engine could have been done while waiting on the parts. He has had the parts for nearly 10 weeks. I talk to him all the time. But part of my conversations with mark always has been ... ... why are you taking these other peoples trucks, and not working on mine? I can think of several who has had twins installed while he does nothing on mine. I can also think of many like yourself who claim to know more about my truck than I do. WHY?

Because he hasn't been working on it. I want my truck back, complete. tuned ready. It is not going to happen. I have given him a drop dead date. I am sure it will not be complete. I will most likely not complete the project and put my original twins back on if not then sell the parts I bought. And by the way it was me who connected him Turbonetics, it was because of my contact that Mark got the master distributorship with them. It was me who connected him with the man who he is constantly buying all these trick parts from. It was actually my man who built the exhaust manifold, the valve train and the fueling mods. Mark was supposed to put in the turbos, intercoolers, fire rings and stud and girdle the bottom. That's it Alot of guys from DTR got their truck serviced and mine has sat. Everyone dealing with him knows more about my information than I do.

I am going to get my truck back on the date I specified whether the work is done or not. If the work is not complete or if anything is wrong. I am getting all my paper work togther, I have my corporate atty on retainer, and am contacting the BAR. I will follow through with these alternatives after the date I have given him. I have enough to follow through on all of the previously mentioned because so far I have put out way more then most and am very unhappy. Everything was paid for up front. I got taken by a dishonest individual. Many have seen my truck in Texas and think they know everything, but none know of the promises that were made and the daily conversations I have had with this vendor trying to come to an end on it. Yes, I'm frustrated. Disappointed. Very angry. Getting my truck completely done won't even begin to make this nightmare I have had for the last 8 months subside. The thing is its all Mark Kendrick's fault. I'm going to put an end to it one way or another.

This is the last time I will address this fiasco...

I will not be threatened. Go ahead and sue. I could care less. I'll finish the truck and then give you the bill.

David's behavior on many occasions has been inflamatory and abusive. It's hard to get motivated to go the extra mile while getting verbally beaten repeatedly over the head both on and off line and by phone.

He demonstrated the same lack of judgement and control while dealing with several other vendors. I understand their frustrations.

As For the truck.....

I have already completely rebuilt the motor to include: fire-ings, studs top and bottom, a bottom end girdle and total seal rings, flanged the front crossmember, and reinstalled the engine. there are lots of new fueling parts going on and there was a new HD flexplate installed

Right now the front frame crossmember(under the radiator) is being replaced to allow the intercooler and two radiators, one for the intercooler one for the motor.

the truck will have THREE intercoolers not two. the plan is for 1 air:air and two air:water

The issues with fitting it all together under the hood where boost hoses will stay together are numerous. We're not talking about a 'race only' or 'pulling' truck. It's a daily driver. it's not using water injection for intercooling. It's not being built to to be rebuilt between every run.

He's not paying for R&D. R&D is for production items. This is all custom one-off. By definition it is expensive and slow going. The time limitations that have been imposed have been to control cost at David's request.

That being said. . I'd charge double if I had it to do again.

Turbonetics spec'd the turbos, intercoolers and radiators. They were given a target HP and boost level and asked to give a design. They did and that's what was bought.

I gave a minimum estimate of material and labor and David has turned that into a final bottom dollar figure. If I had a larger budget I could throw a lot more manpower at it but as it stands I have to do almost all of the work myself and farm out what I am less qualified to do.

Every time I have to get someone else to do some fabrication I end up waiting on them.

Since the last part I recieved, three days before a dyno day while I had two other trucks getting parts, I have worked on possible mounting locatons of turbos and inter cooler, I was sick for a few days and my emplyee's truck spun a bearing out of town. Getting my helper back on the road is paramount to getting this done. He gets my parts, takes things to the machine shop and keeps the place running while I work my day job. . YES A DAY JOB. All of the work done by me through my shop gets done evenings between 6pm and midnight. The 'other' trucks, my help works on most days and I gave him a hand. Most of his time is spent running parts to and fro and and doing the grunt work. He pulls the heads off the trucks and buttons them up allowing me to concentrate on the twins and David's truck. When the shop slows down we both work on David's truck

BEFORE HE pipes up. . . Thanks Joe!! I appreciate his efforts more than words can say. He is one of the best friends I've ever had or could ever hope to. He gets it done when crunch time is upon us. I could not ask for more. AGAIN, Thanks a million Joe!!!

For David to expect my shop to remain idle for months waiting on parts is not even in the realm of reality much less reasonable. I have to keep work coming through the door so I can afford for the place to stay open. a couple months work has been done on the truck by myself and others.

I work and am working extremely hard to produce a high quality product at a reasonable price. For anyone here to imply that I'm 'in over my head' is at least insulting.

BTW, I leave the oil changes to my eight year old:p ;) :D
