Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) sometimes it starts

well the 02 started last night but when i shut it off and tried to restart it, it just cranks over and wont start. so could it be the ecm or a bad connection some where? fuel pumps out of the injecters when cracked. this has been an on going problem (read story in previous posts) truck starts every so often but not all the time help

check fuel pressure

and go from there

check the plugs going to the ecm push them in

and give her a try

or take the battery cables off both batterys for 30 min

clean everything up real good with sandpaper and a wire brush do it rite clean wires to the battery and grounds clean the red wire lug on the starter thats doing it rite

Sounds like it is time to replace the VP44. They don't always throw a code when dying.

Did you try swapping out the ASD and Fuel Injection relays like I suggested here?

Have you tested the VP-44 by running +12 volts to pin #7 & -neg to pin #6 on the injection pump & try to start it?
