Michelins are good tires no doubt about that but as far as the French go...

Screw 'em :)

My truck came with Michelins but I will look for a different brand when the time comes.

My blood has been here since 1633. Pardon my nationalism and KMA.

The first generation of my family in America shows up in the Norfolk County, VA census in 1650 where he was already established as a planter. This individual was in England in 1624, so he came over sometime between 1624 and 1650.

So, what's that got to do with the topic at hand?

And Rusty would know, he was there. :-laf

Just kidding ya Rusty. :D

Man, in 44 years on this continent has american views ever changed. I at one point in life get slammed for buying foriegn because that was all I could afford, now you get slammed for sticking up for your country and trying to protect our interests.

Only a monkey with a defective brain would not know that a lot of the products we buy are made overseas or another country, and maybe that is why we should pay closer attention to what is going on here at home and when we go to the voteing polls.

This issue is rediculous, If you do not like whats going on and can not take a stand for your country then maybe you should move to the country you do support!!

Let me get this straight... you will not but the tires cause they are from a French company. But you will buy a Dodge truck, Which is owned by The Germans, and Built by the Mexicans? That is OK? You don't want to make a stand because they took jobs from Americans and shipped them to Mexico? It doesn't bother you that instead of the union labor from this country, they use men, and women, which are only paid less then a 1/10 of what they use to pay? I bet if Chrysler could they would buy up Cummins and move it to Mexico also, Or stop them from producing the ISB and stick there Mercedes in.

It seems quiet useless to stand on one issue, when it is only one of many issues that need to be addressed. And also hypocritical, when you turn your back on the issues that aid you, but grandstand on others.

Hey RustyJC, I am sure that you did not meet my boat. I know how high up the English are. And none of you would meet a German boat.

Relax, my friend. And, check your PM.

Well, I'm gonna keep buying Michelins

Fellow Rammers:

I've been using Michelins for over 25 years and to tell you the truth, I never dealt with anyone from France or even anyone with a French accent. I always bought from solid, reputable Americans selling these great tires. Haven't failed to get 70 to 80K miles out of every set I've owned. I go along w/ RustyC on this.

We don't have work at hurting the French or Germans; they're doing that well enough on their own with their crumbling economies, high unemployment and diminished world presitge.

So there you go: I'm a diehard Dodge/Cummins/Michelin/Lone Star Beer guy.

Sacrement... qu'est ce qui passe ici? Tout le monde, les Francais aiment les produits Americains... c'est juste le president Americain qu'ils n'aiment pas.

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme.

Nuff said?;)

Ne pourrait pas dire qu'il m'améliore

Ceci est une bonne façon pour contourner le filtre de mot

What's funny using the http://www.freetranslation.com/ site is if you translate between one language and another then back again it changes, do it again and it changes more.

Sort of reminded me of the old classroom demonstration where one person whispers a statement to his classmate and so on and so on. When it gets to the last person in class the statement is entirely different.
