Do you know anyone with a Smarty?
Does it hurt anything if you don't recalibrate the speedo when going bigger in tire size, other than that the speedometer is off,?? does it effect the engine and fueling parametersbeing put out by ECM ??
No problems... ... ... except if you have any warranty issues that they try to get out of you will find a statement in your warranty book(most years) that if your mileage can not be proven accurately ... ... ... ... ... .....
There are a number of tire sizes listed that can be chosen in the star scan to get the speedo closer the largest diameter being the 285 that the power wagon uses for the 06 and 07 models. As heather stated, the 03-05 you can enter the revs per mile using the drb3.
My favorite way is using a Smarty... ... ... and it will run BETTER.

BoB4x4,
Can you explain more about the Smarty, ... . how it(truck) will run better using the Smarty to correct for bigger tires ?? So if you don't recalibrate when going to bigger tires, you are giving up power because the ECM thinks it's fueling for a certain tire size, when really it's not ?? Can you explain please ??![]()
Thanks,
Randall
Well just using the speedo correction portion won't make it run better, but download just the 30 hp level and you will wonder why you didn't do it the day you drove the truck home.

It will affect your ABS Braking system if the size is much different than stock
