speedo error

My speedometer reads 2 mph fast @ highway speeds, always. Stock tires, stock gears, etc. The odometer is accurate, so I'm hesitant to change the settings to fix the speedo and mess up the odometer... .



Anyone know how to get the cluster out, thinking I'll just reposition the needle on the speedo, if possible. It's infuriating... .

Mine is the same. Gotta indicate 67 to do 65. But I question your statement about your odometer being right. I checked mine against two different gps units on trips to Florida and back. The odometer consistantly showed more miles traveled than I actually drove. One of the reason's the overhead never is right also.

Same here. I bought the Smarty Jr. when I changed my tires and adjusted the speedo, it is dead on with my GPS now. Odometer is same as GPS also.
