what is a good spray on bed liner make available out there in califoria. Or may be a good shop to have it done at. Also, any information on where to get an under coat done. Thanks.

I have had problems with a Rhino Liner dealer near Los Angeles. He barely applied 1/16th of an inch of the liner to my truck bed after 3 trips to his shop. Rhino Linings Inc. , is going to help me and re-apply the bed liner (after I made enough noise). I will have to travel to their corporate office in San Diego to have this accomplished. But, at least it will be done right.

I guess I've been lucky. On my old truck I had a Rhino put on right after I bought it. I had no problems with it over the last three years and I've hauled all kinds of stuff in it including the dreaded 5000 lb. pallet of concrete pushed in with a forklift.

Alas, the Rhino dealer that did that install isn't in busness anymore... musta put it on too thick to be profitable.

On my new truck I just had a Rhino put in yesterday here in New Hampshire. Another good job about 1/4" thick on the bottom and about 1/8" on the sides.

Whatever you get make sure they keep the drain holes in the front of the bed open to allow the water to drain out. I've seen several trucks with spray-in liners where they just covered 'em.

I've had Rhino in my last 2 trucks and haven't had a problem. It seems to be stickier than some of the others, which is why I went with it.

I've had problems with the Rhino Liner tthat was sprayed in my Toyota, it peeled like a boiled chicken the FIRST TIME that I used it #ad
. I had Line-X sprayed in my 2001 3500. What a difference!!! Not only does it look a hundred times better, but it is tough. I've already talked to the Line-X dealer about re-doing the Toy. Also, I had the Line-X sprayed under the areas that I applied diamond plate to reduce the risk of rust, just bring the pieces to the dealer so he can use them as a template. Hope this helps.

I have a linex liner installed in my truck and wish I would have done it from the git go. There seems to be a absense of rhino liner dealers in our area, maybe linex bought them out. If I ever have to replace my truck I will go with the linex from the start. My two cents worth.

I had what is called "Alpha-Liner" sprayed in by American Bedliners in Cerritos. This guy was the first to spray Line-X in Southern Californina and recently went independent with what he beleives is a much better product. It is stronger and has less of a tendency to fade than Line-X. I'm very happy with the results.

Just had a rhino sprayed in mine , people that i know who have one have had good luck with them. My sons fire dept. had one ( red )sprayed on their brush truck(1995) no problems yet.

I had my LineX sprayed in over-the-rails about two weeks ago. I choose Medium Gray, one of the new colors that they just started using. It matches my driftwood truck very nicely.

I had mine done at LineX of Riverside if you are in this area. They came highly recommeded from the dealer where I bought the truck (Frahm Dodge in Norco).

Also someone mentioned fading. LineX has a treatment that you can brush over the product that enhances the luster and preserves the color.

PS: I forgot to mention, I just got back from a trip to Denver with the bed full of furniture. Still looks like new.

I have had Line-X on my 99 Ram 1500, my uncles 1500 and my new 2500 (this past weekend) I have never had a problem with any of the 2 older ones in fact after a year my uncles looks like new, and trust me he is not good at keeping anything clean.

Thanks to all your replys guys, they were very helpful. Today I had mine done at line-x of martinez. The guy there did a great job. Toke about three hours to do. But it was well worth the wait.

My son-in-law has a 97 with the Rhino and he has been pleased with it. I had Line-X installed on my truck because I thought it was a tougher coating. I was very pleased with the application and you could see the prep was done carefully. The shop that did mine is in Plymouth, MA.
I agree, prep is everything!
