Competition Rear Springs for Pulling

Competition Results from TTPA pull in Elkton, Mi. 9/3/06

I'm going to a single and nitrous for drag racing. . I've got a 66 now, though I will send it in for a 72 if everyone feels it will benefit me. Has anyone got actual results going from a 66 to a Silver Bullet. . The information will be very appreciated. . Thanks,

Brad

Do you have a sps66 now?? The silver bullet is a 66mm inducer charger. You can get an option of the 71mm wheel. I was told unless your turning over 4000 rpm that the 71mm wheel doesn't have much benefit over the 66.

Brad I would stay with the 66 but go for a larger ported housing like they use on the SPS 62's. Remember it's not so much about the air but more about the bottle.

I'm only running 50 psi with the single.

Just put the silverbullet 66 in the duallie... ... . holy crap, quite a difference from the BD-1 that it replaced. Pulls hard and quick.

Industrial Injection is making a 'special' Silver Bullet, mainly for sled pulling only. I think the regular Silver Bullet comes with a 68mm wheel(or something close to that) and the special Silver Bullet comes with a 72 mm wheel. Call and talk to Industrial about the specifics, I just wanted to bring that to your attention

Standard silver bullet is 66mm. The other one is a 71mm wheel. This meets the 2. 8 rule. Like Wunderwood said call Industrial, I discussed it with them and it is just hard to beat the performance of the 66mm wheels. The 71 was made for that person who has to have the biggest that is allowed. Remember though everytime you go bigger on the compressor side you lose wheel speed. Wheel speed is what makes the silverbullet such a capable charger.

What is the difference in the standard 66 silver bullet and the super phat shaft 66? aside from the polished housing.
