squeak at 50 mph right turn

A friend of mine has a 99 2500 5 spd 4. 10 gears, he has a squeking noise in a right turn only around 50mph goes away when he straightens it out and slows down any one else have this problem, been under truck longer than I would like any help would be appreciated. Also think I recruited another TDR member

Seen lots of squeaks on a right turn overwash board roads due to a bad steering intermediate shaft. . Replacement of the shaft is iminent but can usually make it quieter for a bit by spraying near the upper joint where the shaft has a peice of plastic bushing around it. . Cured several squeaks this way and also by tightening the windsheild cowl holding nuts. . Good luck, Garth.

Garth thanks for the reply, I will check out both of those and let you know. Never heard the one about the cowl that could drive you crazy trying to find that. Thanks again Packmule. .
