Squirrely AC on Early '04

I have had my truck back to the dealer for new ball joints and recalibration of the mixture doors in the AC. Ball joints are fixed-so far. I continue to have problems with the AC. It freezes up constantly and I turn compressor button off, vent until it blows air again, and turn compressor back on. That is a pain in the *****!! Additionally no matter what locatoin setting the AC is in there is constantly air blowing on the floor-mostly when I do not want it on the floor.

Has this happened to any of ya'll? If so what needs to be done to fix it? What do I need to specify to check when I take it back to dealer-I only have 32K miles so far? Yes I plan to get an extended warranty when I get my tax return back.

Otherwise this is the best truck I have ever had. Except maybe the 1953 M37 Oo. Or maybe the 1951 M43

There is a TSB out for the '03's that addresses this. It may cover yours too depending on the build date. Someone here will be better able to help you than I can.
