Tomeygun's SRT-10 shifter looks great!!! What I like the most, and need, is the curve in the shifter that places the knob a little closer to the driver.
While at May Madness, I ran across a guy that has a "Whiplash Shifter" in his truck. It has a similar curve or bend in the shifter that the SRT-10 has. I believe Whiplash just bends the stock shift levers and then repaints them. I believe they are about $175. 00, exchange.
Do any of you metal bending experts know how to bend these shift levers without putting kinks into the metal where the bends are? There must be some way of doing it. What kind of metal shop would do something like this and what would it cost for two bends?
I'm happy with my stock shift knob and don't need the chrome Hurst shifter but, would like to have the knob a little closer to the driver.
Thanks for your suggestions.
