Here's the pic - Any comments/questions, let me know!!
(Honest, if you think the offset should be different, let me know!)

Tommy, just curious, have you made any of the adaptor pieces with the flat bar coming straight up from the tube rather than having that slight bend. that is what the 2nd genners really need. just a thought, i've been usingmine since august and im used to it now... but the modified adapter would be better

I have not only because in the original configuration the ofset is minimal. The config "B" is where you have more offset.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone posted pics of this on a 2000 model? I wana see where the shifter ends up, plus, is this going to work with a "smoothie" cup holder? I have the NV4500 transmission and right now, if I slam it into 2nd hard enough, I hit the cup holder.

its not really the offset that is bad... its the angle of the shifter. it either angles down into your leg, or away from you towards the passenger seat. if the flat bar came straight up from the round tube it would be perfect.

I bought a used bd s/s and tomeygun hurst srt 10 shifter from a guy and it is the best money I have spent on the truck. I did notice the 20% advertised throw difference which feels like 50%. But what really made me happy was the difference in side throw. To get in reverse is easier and so short compared to stock that in its self was almost worth it. Another plus was the solid bolt up to the shifter itself. The stock stick has a rubber isolator which I guess is for vibration and sound control but, it flexes quite a bit compared to tomeygun's fabrication which makes shifts easier. The only flaw or complaint which is with the bd short shift is getting into 4th from 5th is impossible unless at a certain mph. Why I don't know as with stock was no problem. Tomeygun's product is by far worth the money, no doubt about it. I love the srt leather knob, but a knob is very personal too, so mount your favorite knob on the hurst and enjoy as you will shift close to a hundred times a day.

Hey Tomey, will you still have a few shifters w/srt 10 knobs available around the end of march? I think I will be getting a new clutch then so I might as well add your creation to my list...

I still have some yes. More importantly I have about 20 adapters left, the shifters and ball can be bought from dodge anytime (most anytime)

btw - I am waiting for some indexing rings and I will have about 3-4 kits ready...

What can I say, I've been a busy beaver at work and home/internet time has not been very plentiful :{

Sooo... long time since last post.

Due to my time constraints (and Genos Garage always great service), The Srt-10 shifter kits will be exclusively available direct from GENOS GARAGE.

Even better is they carry the popular Cummins shifter knob and it fits right on!

It is not on the net yet, but is available and will be in the next catalog.

Tommy, is is possible to get on to fit a '07 G56 like this one? with the bend shifter stub?

#ad

I'm swapping it into my first Gen 4x4 and Think it would be a good addition.

Also that is all I have fro that shifter seems liek i could bolt the srt arm with its two bolt holes to my shifter stub with two holes? Doesn't look like I would nee the threaded conversion?

Any info on this . I hope to get this done before the snow flys.

Thanks,

Deo

I have not designed an adapter to corrected align the srt10 shifter on the bolt-style G56 top shifter section...

One problem with your situation is the angles will be different then a regulat 2007+ truck...
