1st gen and 3rd gen, no 2nd gen.
They might not have offered a 2nd gen 3500 2 RWD option, but it is a pretty simple process to convert it.
Recently converted my '01. Was going to do the body work on the bed, but decided it was too much work and opted to swap it out for the flatbed. If you search Youtube there's a great video that walks you thru the conversion.

I converted mine to a 5500 about 20 years ago. That was before Dodge started making 5500s. The only person I fooled was a Dodge mechanic who had performed the recall on the throttle linkage. When he came out to the waiting room he said he had never seen a 5500 before. I said "Really? I bought it here. It's a prototype to see if there is a market for them. Only 200 were made. The gauges are stock and the engine has been upgraded to 300 HP". Laughed all the way home.

I owned a 2000 2nd Gen 2500 4x4 QC LB 6spd 4,10 with the camper package. I towed an 18K Lb triple axle Travel Supreme. It could have easily passed as a SRW 3500 IMHO.

FYI - 3500 automatics had Dana 80 rear ends, the automatic/manual for an 80 was just on the 2500's. The tricky part is the front, the dually hubs (wheel bearing) before '2000 or so had a different pilot diameter than the SRW front hubs did. The later hub/bearing pilot diameters are the same between DRW & SRW.
