- C'Springs Convoy to Greeley Dyno Day -

Well 34 out of the 45 or so trucks that paid to dyno got to run on it, then the dyno broke. Not sure what happened. They tried to fix it. We got our money back. It was a good time. I'd like to see results too.

It was good to see evertone that came!

For all of you that took digital pictures, I would like to hear from you. I need all the pictures that I can get for the GDOA web site. PM if you took pictures. Thanks!

Well my 93 put down 234 hp/586 ft lbs. First time on the dyno. Bill, glad to see you made it home, I just pulled in a 1030pm. 228 miles one way. What a long drive to look at diesel trucks make smoke, and spin the tires :-laf I was dissapointed that I didn't get to see your's, Chris's, and Daniel's truck on the rollers. Maybe next time.

I had to leave a little early for a bowling tournament so I didn't see all the runs and results, but I would have to say THANKS to all who showed and I thought it was a good time and success. I look forward to this event next year as the plans are to have this at least once a year. I hope you all had a good time and thought it was worth the travel time.

J, I wasn't there but I heard from a reliable source that DLange put down I think 552 or something like that. That truck is powered by Adkins Diesel Performance stuff and tuned by Forest City Diesel. I believe that the second place truck was right around 500.

STONE CHURCH RULES... :)

p. s. Mopars1 I heard it is about time for that new clutch and then a trip to the strip.

Yeh Travis, the clutch is starting to slip a tiny bit at 57,000 miles. I can't complain at all. Most told me the clutch would be toast as soon as I added injectors at 500 miles. Then when the EZ was added around 10,000 miles the clutch was going to last 10 miles. So much for the thoughts of some:)

Yup number 35

Yes, the dyno broke at number 35, i know this because i was 36!!!! Sorry i didnt get to run and sorry for anybody after me in the list, maybe next time guys. Thanks to everybody for getting the event together, and providing door prizes and such.

Good to see some familiar faces, guys from the indiana get-together, DPuckett, BGilbert, etc... ... Hope to see y'all again somewhere, ill be at the joliet, illinois event.

As a side note, Not_Agn (lee) and i managed to meet up on the interstate on 39/51 heading north, with him coming off an exit ramp, layin down a soot trail for me to follow :-laf , naturally i had to pursue, i fought the good fight, but his superior numbers left me in the dust :D , good race Lee, next time lay off the McFlurry though (i told u my truck would do 105)

Anyways, its 11:30 and i just rolled in a little bit ago, so i guess im gonna turn in after a 19 hour day.

P. S. - I averaged 22 mpg down and back, not too bad for a 3500 pickup i guess LOL

Jake

Caught?

You can say that again, two trucks at probably 100mph and 115 mph, respectively, i think the cops would just shoot us, firing squad style right there on the spot :--)

I believe he was the 4th truck or so... set the bar nice and high

The attendance prizes were great, a fuel pump from DPP, peirs diesel gift certificates, etc -- Really nice to see so many vendors donate stuff

On a side note, The big red dodge took honors with the highest 3rd gen ram - 458hp (of course keith of forest city diesel didnt run, Nor did John "Floor-it" Isaac wit his 650+hp beast... So that helped :D )

Well gang sorry i couldnt be the runner up in HP. but as a few of you know my slave cylinder went out on my clutch as i was backing out of the garage to leave. I even got up early this morning to re-torque my head and set the valves :(

I tracked down the new parts (thanks Royal Gate Dodge) and we are leaving @ 4am to go fetch our new RV in Elkhart IN. tonight. there's always next time :D

I was building for 550hp or so but dont think i have big enough smoke sticks, I can only get 60LBS of boost.

BTW how about that goat path they call a driveway? :D

Congrats to Dave and the tuning master himself Rammin On. Forest City Diesel trucks in the top 2 slots are a great accomplishment and somehow I'd be willing to bet even though he was sick and very busy he still managed a smile,Life Is Good!!!. Now where are the pictures of this deal at as us armchair drivers would like to see some of the rides... ... Andy

I want to put out a huge thanks to Keith and Lisa at Forest City Diesel for putting on a great event. Also a big thanks to Dave Lovell, everyone at Mustang Muscle, and all the vendors who helped with the event. We had a good turnout and I had a great time meeting everyone. Hopefully this becomes a annual event. :) Also thanks to JR Adkins for big air and fuel. The only thing missing was travis popping a turbo :-laf Once again big thanks to Keith for always being there when something on the truck goes wrong!!!  :-laf lol
