I was just wondering if any of you 3rd gen owners have stacks on your rigs. If so how do they sound. I'm thinking about putting them on mine just haven't decided yet. Oh yeah also how do you get your truck specs to show up when you make a posting.

I'm debating on stacks also . . . . may actually make a decision sometime. Me an he girlfriend have different thoughts on them! :-{}

Go to user control pannel and click edit profile, and there is a signature box. Fill in the signature box with the information you want to show up whenever youpost. It should only show up the first time you post. If you post several times on the same thread, then it wil not show up again, but if you post on a different thread it will show up once. I hope you can understand that. It gets a little confusing till you spend some time at it. Welcome to the TDR roundtable!

guys i have been the most anti stack person you've ever met

"no way i'd spend time and money JUST FOR LOOKS"

well my 5 year old son begged and begged ... anyone with kids knows the rest

let me tell you something ...

put 'em on monday ... .

unbelieve-able

i have never recieved so much positive feedback in my life

had a state trooper give me a thumbs up and smile ...

went to an autoparts store today ... left it idling out front and had two 40+ year old guys staring in glee when i got out there ... "that is the coolest thing i've ever seen ... . rev it up again"

i have owned a 66 fairlane - 68 camaro - 70 roadrunner - '91 cummins with 42" super swampers

i have recieved more compliments in ONE week then with all the others combined

i work at a catholic hospital in a conservative LITTLE town and i had a registered nurse and anesthesist staring at the truck yesterday waiting for me to come out and start the truck

took my boy to hardees through the drive through, got him a shake ... i could see 3 little guys staring as i went around ... when i came around the other side they had their faces plastered on the window ... left their seats

figured what the heck ... box on 5x5 ... mash the brake ... mash the throttle

Oo. Oo. Oo.

if you've ever seen three little boys just about explode in joy you know what i'm talking about

i take it all back i would gladly spend twice the money ... i'll never run a diesel without 'em again ...

i've had more fun with the smoke this week than with the hp since i've had the truck ... beating an unsuspecting "Hot rod" is fun ...

putting a look of glee on a little kids (4 through 74 years old) face is priceless

I've ridden in an '03 with dual stacks. Sounded great from the ouside, but was too loud inside for my taste. Don't take me wrong, I'm not 40, had glass packs on all my previous gas trucks and raced sprint cars with headers dumping right beside you (ear plugs under the helmet) ... ... ... ... ... . but, towing 6 or 7 hours at a time with a 3 horse goose with living quarters makes for stinky sheets when it comes time to sleep :{

7" bULLHORN

SORRY about the picture I didn't take it.

Here is a picture of my 7" Bullhorn. It is in the middle of the bed pointed straight back. Some say it is ridiculous but I like to be different. I still have the muffler on it so it is not to loud in the cab. Only annoying when running 2100-2400 rpm. This is also my second set of stacks. I think I might keep this one for awhile. That is done with a tonneau, and a bedrug.

A duramax owner took the picture and posted on the

there is a few page discussion over there.

Stack it! :D You will love it. I agree with the others, once stacked you never go back. The down side is yes, it is a little loud (especially in my reg cab, no muff, or anything to deaden sound), but the amount of people that look really does make me laugh. All age groups love it, all races, cops, truckers, mechanics and even the honda kids seem to get a kick out of em. My crew is going to get them in the next few weeks, but this time it is going to be 5" not 4". If you do it, 5" or nothin! You will love em.

Robert

P. S. One WOT with them on, seeing your exhaust in your rear view, running with the windows down and you will have no regretts.

STACK IT

People love to see, and hear them,, Ive had many people looking for a big truck while mine is running.

What size wheels & tires are those? I tried that link and it doesn't work.

Sorry about the link you have to be a member to enter the site. It's free though, and fun reading all the d-max stuff. Plus there is a cummins forum on there.

Here is a pic of mine. They get all kinds of reactions most like them and a few think they are stupid but i like them so that is what counts. [/IMG][/IMG]#ad
