I had been having trouble with my front wheel bearings staying tight on the 04. 5; I finally broke down and did something about it. I decided to try out these X-Locks and put them in tonight. Now obviously with anything, time will tell how good they work but my first impression was very good.
Great quality parts, VERY easy to use/install, no special tools, and made in the U. S. A! The only hiccup may be if you have the 6 tooth spindle nuts as these will require a 4 tooth socket. I already had both so no biggie. I'll give it a few weeks and see how it works out but they're "guaranteed" to stay tight. I'm going to pick up a set for the 93' when the time comes to rebuild the hubs again. Check them out if you're in the need.
