through some serious investigatin' (thanks dave fritz) i found full cover aluminum diamond plate rocker covers. they are made by innovative creations inc. (800-626-8746x104 ask for nathan) in arizona but they don't sell retail. i thought i had found what i was looking for from trucktoyz.com (888-847-4109 ask for mark) but wound up with only 4" wide rocker covers that would have been silly. i then saw what i thought was stainless steel diamond plate (may have been but ici said they only do aluminum) on dave fritz's web page which he was kind enough to direct me to. turns out that guy pop riveted the panels on. i didn't want to go that route. after speaking to nathan at ici he said the only reason they don't put high bond tape on the panels is that they are too wide to put through the tape application machine. i intend on attaching them with 3M tape. ici seems to think that route is plenty good enough. i ordered them through trucktoyz as they were very nice about taking the return and not charging the 10% restock fee they tell you about on their website.
now if you don't want to go diamond plate... . ici does stainless steel (mainly) and in full coverage (up to the trim line). i'd really consider going that route... . if i wasn't going to those truly trick full coverage diamond plate covers!!!
sorry for the long post. i will try my best to post a pic as soon as i've got the panels on olga.
Rob is correct. NW Custom produces the very best stainless steel rocker panels on the market today! These are available in either polished or brushed stainless steel with your choice or many different cutout designs available. The designs are precision cut with a C. N. C. controlled water jet. Very trick and well worth the extra money Jason asks for these.
