Help with EGT probe metal filings

Frantz with twins?

Does anyone know the anything about the Stanadyne Fuel Manager Filter/Water separator?Lift Pump assembly? From the literature I picked up it is an additional pump w/filter placed in front of the OEM lift pump. The unit is a filter/water separator assembly with a 12V lift pump attached. Fuel is routed so that it's filtered before going through the lift pump. They say with this unit installed, fuel pressure is raised an additional 6 PSI at the injection pump. It costs around $400.

Any thoughts?

Have one

Been running it since June, 2004. It has two filters, a large and a small, with a water dump valve. My fuel pressure at idle is 18 PSI and at 75 MPH, it runs 18 PSI. Lowest reading ever was 6 PSI at WOT, no load. I run 275 injectors, Van aaken, 4 inch exhaust, boost elbow and Amsoil air filter, with 3. 55 gears. The boost at the 6 PSI reading was 31 PSI. It is plummed to pump through the stock lift pump. I have travelled about 15,000 miles since installing it. So far, so good !

Stanadyne 33945 Fuel Manager

I installed one on my '02 when the FP went down to 8psi WOT. I went to 16psi at idle and 13psi WOT. I have instructions with pictures as to the mounting and plumbing and electrical hook up if you want. PM me and I will reply to you. Thanks. :)
