Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Star Wheel, which way to more fuel?

Do I use the tool to pry up or down on the star wheel for more fuel?

my mechanic told me the same. turn the top of the wheel toward the engine until the spring pressure is off. just helps the turbo spool up faster. you can also take off the cover at the end of that housing that holds your star wheel and loosen that nut and use an allen wrench to turn that bolt in. just watch the smoke role when you get in it.

Easy way to remember this stuff is, sliding everything (star wheel, AFC housing, cam plate) towards the radiator means faster and more horsepower.
